Save the Children is currently seeking a Project Coordinator for “Promoting Inclusive Education for Every Last Child in Mongolia”, a three-year long project (March 2018 - March 2021) funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan.The Project Coordinator is expected to perform the following key tasks and report to the Japanese Grant Manager.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

•    Planning and implementation of project activities
•    Budgeting and monitoring expenditure
•    Coordination with Partners and Key Stakeholders
•    Coordination of Monitoring and Evaluation
•    Preparing bi-annual and annual reports
•    Public Relations

Other duties and responsibilities will be assigned by education program and project management as required.

Person specification requirements:

•    Minimum of five years of experience in program/project management, preferably with international organizations or NGOs, with a proven history of delivering results, preferably in the education sector
•    A Master’s Degree in relevant discipline (i.e., Primary education; inclusive education and development related subjects; child rights; education policy; monitoring & evaluation; and management/development studies).
•    Good understanding of education thematic subjects and demonstrated experience in working with the government and education authorities at all levels.
•    Clear understanding of issues and realities affecting the public primary school education preferably on inclusive education in Mongolia.
•    Excellent personal communication skills involving multiple stakeholders.
•    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
•    Excellent verbal and written skills in English and Mongolian. 
•    Proficient in computer programs (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook, One drive and PowerPoint)
